October 25th!

Hey, just read this on Wikipedia!
Did you know that October 25th in China is "Resist America and Help Korea Day!"
It had something to do with the...Vietnam War...I think...or the Korean War....something like that. Oh well, still think that's pretty funny!
Below is how to ROFL!

Until next time!

Finally, it's here!

Hey everyone,
Sorry I couldn't add anything to this blog for the past couple of weeks. I've been pretty busy and just haven't found the time for it. (I've also been busy playing Eliminate) :)

==Update==
-Pee-Devil falls out of the Top 25! I think it is now #48. However, Pocket God has also fallen out and is at number 28.
-Have you guys seen those new Verizon commercials where the iPhone is on the "Island of Misfit Toys". All the other toys ask why the iPhone is there, and then a map of ATT 3G coverage shows....Personally, I like the commercials, but remember when Pepsi tried to bash Coke, Burger King tried to bas McDonald's, and Mac is trying to bash PC? Well, the dominant company still came out on top. So even though, I'm rooting for Verizon, I'm not sure if they'll succeed
-Now I know that for most of the blog, I've been talking about stuff on the iTouch, and I'm gonna try to change that around.

A Day of Epic Proportions

Remember that post when I said that an epic battle was beginning between Rock Band and TTR3? Ignore that, it's already over and Rock Band lost. However, today, the true battle begins between Pocket Devil and Pocket God. Yes, you read that correctly. Eyedip LLC has developed Pocket Devil, which has the same concept of Pocket God, except you are in the underworld and its much more bloody. Many people are already crying foul and reviews are popping up on Pocket Devil and Pocket God, saying how Pocket Devil is a rip-off. Pocket Devil, has reached #12 on the App store as I type! But wait! There's more!

Epic Thing #2
Oh my! You go to the App Store, look at the Top 25 Paid list, and... TAP TAP REVENGE 3 HAS DROPPED OUT OF THE #1 SPOT, relinquishing its spot to Skee-Ball! Looks like people like flicking balls at targets more than tapping balls as the cross the target!

Epic Thing #3
Metallica Revenge was released today. I don't care much for that type of music...but LOOK AT THE FEATURES!! Bluetooth multiplayer, 4 rail mode, 5 rail mode, an awesome arcade mode with weapons (just like TTR3 Online mode, but way more!). This is what everyone expected TTR3 would look like! Also, they released a free track for TTR3 from Metallica Revenge called 'Fuel' with the theme! Medium mode is regular old 3 rails, but Extreme mode is the 4 rail track!!!

Not so Epic but still kinda Epic thing #4
Update for Doodle Jump was released today, HALLOWEEN MODE! Check it out!

Apps Weekly coming soon! Wednesday or Thursday!

Windows 7 has arrived today. Go to windows.com, they have an awesome website set up!

Today's main point of news! Tap Tap Thursday has releaseed 'Fireflies' by Owl City. TTR3, the #1 app, and Fireflies, the #1 single have now joined together for Tap Tap Thursday! The Extreme mode for the song is one of the hardest tracks on the game, though the theme looks awesome. Pics are below!

App News
The (kinda) Epic Battle Begins!
Rock Band 2  breaks into the Top 5 and rivals TTR3! Both apps have a 4star review average, but RB2 cost a whopping 9.00 more than TTR3! RB2 has already claimed the #1 spot in the Top Grossing List passing TTR3, but how long will this last? Only time will tell.

App Reviews
We have a jam-packed app reviews section today!
Run! -0.99
Run! is a fast paced reflex game, in which you play a running character that has 4 main actions. Jump up, slide, shoot things with a bazooka or attack. You must avoid (or destroy) the obstacles, but only certain obstacles can be destroyed. As the game goes on, your character moves faster and more obstacles get put in your way! Remember, Run! is a 'pick up and play' game, so games are usually pretty short. The only downside is that I wish you could start in the middle of the game with all obstacles in play, however developers said that that feature may be coming soon, but for that Run! only gets a score of
Rating- 4/5

Water Board- Free
In Water Board, you choose a picture and Water Board makes it look like water! Simple enough...right? Actually the 'water' feels more like a rubbery 'trampoline' surface, than a water surface. I'd also like to see more features put into Water Board. For now Water Board is a nice app, but needs more functionality
Rating- 3/5

Traffic Trouble- Free
Traffic Trouble is a nice free app, in which you must direct traffic across an intersection. Sounds simple enough, but just like Run!, Flight Control and Harbor Master, it gets harder over time. This is a great game to play while you're waiting for an app to download, or if you're just bored. For what it is, Traffic Trouble is a nice, simple, well executed app!
 Rating- 5/5

MORE STUFF! (not Apps Weekly)

1. Tap Tap Revenge 3-$0.99 (moved up from previous)
2. Tweetie 2-$2.99 (moved up from #3)
3. Cartoon Wars-$0.99 (moved down from #2)
4. Skee-Ball-$0.99 (moved down)
5. Backbreaker Football-$0.99 (moved up)

CNN Mobile claims number 6 while Pocket God (probably due to 0S 3.0 compatibility only) falls from the Top 25 to #29. However, with the addition of the in app store, Pocket God breaks into the Top Grossing list at #45
After Tap Tap 3 was released, Tap Tap 2 stays in the 40s, about where it was before TTR3
Rock Band for iPhone was announced. Can it rival TTR3?
More info about Rock Band, see the post below

App Reviews

Tap Studio-Free
Tap Studio is like TTR(looks like TTR Coldplay layout), except you can play your own songs. Sounds great right? There's a catch! You must create the 'tap tracks' your self. What does that mean? That means the music plays in the background and you tap out the notes. Than, when you're finished, you can play it back just like a track in Tap Tap.
Rating- 4/5, you have to make your own tracks, good for people who are creative and have a good sense for music creation

That's all for now, more stuff will be posted next week!

Rockband for iPhone, Tap Tap 3

Now EA recently announced Rock Band for iPhone. Personally, I don't really think Rock Band will surpass TTR3. It feels like TTR3 already has a lot of a reputation, and it doesn't seem like its gonna end anytime soon. Then again, the recent release of TTR3 has earned some not so positive reviews, most of which include a lagging game, while others complain about the pricing of songs. I see lots of TTR deserters heading towards Rock Band, and if it only costs $4.99, well, that's a good deal(as one song pack in TTR costs $6.99...I think) and Rock Band comes with 15 songs. One other big factor is that Rock Band contains multiple instruments...and includes a hotly rumored TTR3 feature which never actually made it into TTR3, that is Bluetooth multiplayer.
Music
Rock Band-Rock
TTR- More dance style themed music
Well, you never know what can happen, we'll just have to wait and see
